Our second week

That second week was so new and exciting.  Creston had asked me to come over and He was going to cook steaks.  It was a beautiful day!  I turned the corner on to Wagonwheel and there he was kicked back on his camo four wheeler.  With red hair and freckles shinning, He raised up and gave me this huge toothless smile.  I loved him instantly.  He put his helmet on and we headed up to their house.  Of course I let him pull in first and get off his fourwheeler.  I could tell by the way he stood by it that he was very proud of it.  I stepped out and we introduced ourselves.

I remember walking through the garage and seeing Creston in his backyard - I can close my eyes and see him like it was yesterday.  He had on an orange shirt and shorts!  His back yard was awesome!  Rose bushes everywhere and in every color.  The little mannerly gentleman Blair was, asked me if I would like something to drink.  He brought me a water and I sat down at the patio table and watched Creston as he cooked.  I asked if he needed any help and of course he didn't.  (I didn't know at that point that he was a phenomenal cook.) We ate steak and baked potatoes and it was awesome.  We talked and laughed and I felt right at home.  I helped Creston clean up and then Blair asked if we could go start a fire outside?  Blair really wanted to roast weinees.  Creston offered me some wine, as I had told him that I liked to try different wines.  I said yes and commented on his wine rack.  Blair said "We  just bought it today at Wal-Mart."  That made me laugh because I knew it was special for me!

We sat outside and Creston built a fire.  It was perfect.  I sipped on a little wine and twirled my glass trying to be proper and look as pretty as I could.  Honestly I was so nervous because I had never had feelings like this in my life.  We laughed and Blair roasted weinees and played on his playground.  Creston and I flirted and smiled and pestered each other.  Oh and I loved their dog, Lacy, a German Shorthaired Pointer.

It started to rain outside and so we moved our little party back in the house.  Creston told Blair to go play for a little while so we could talk.  We sat down on the love seat and turned on the TV.  At this point I reached for Creston's hand.  I couldn't take it any longer I needed to touch him.  So we held hands and it was that perfect tingly feeling all over.  It started to thunder so I walked up to the glass door to look out.  Creston followed and we looked outside for a second - a storm was coming.  I turned to walk away from the door and Creston grabbed me and kissed me.  Our first kiss!!!  It was the one I had waited for all my life.  It was again perfect.  I got a little nervous and said we better not do that, Blair is right in the next room.  So, I walked into Blairs room and said whatcha doin?  He was playing the Cars video game on his game cube.  I got down in the floor with him and watched for a second and then he asked if I wanted to play.  So we raced and I got my tail whipped.  Dizzy from movement of the video game, I couldn't stop laughing.  Blair was having a ball and I was too and Creston was just watching us smiling.  This little boy had my heart already and Creston knew it.

It started raining pretty hard and I figured I had better get home.  I told Blair bye and Creston walked me out to the car.  I was so twitterpatted by this time that as I drove down styles I went into deep thought.  I was in love!  Two weeks in and I knew Creston was the man I wanted to marry.  And this little man what a precious gift of life he was, a spitten image of his Daddy.

I love them both so much for always and forever.  I miss them and have a void no one could ever understand the depths of.  But God is still a good God and I am so grateful for his promise of eternal life to those who believe in him.  I am grateful for the two and a half years I was able to share with my boys.  I look forward, anxiously and impatently anticipating the day I get to see them again in Heaven....

My Heart

It was August 12 2006.  I was wearing a black shirt and my favorite holey jeans.  I thought I was looking pretty good that night.  My hair was long and dark.  It was about 20min before the rodeo and my Dad and I were walking on the  west side of the arena by the concession stand.  We walked by and there was Creston.  I walked by and, my dad in front of me, and I waved and smiled as I walked on by and Creston said "How's Leaco?"  I gave him a thumbs up and I kept on walking.  My Dad turns around and asked "Who was that?"  I said Creston Arnspiger.  (Daddy said he saw something special that day.  He said he knew it was love at that very moment.

Come Monday morning I went into work and opened up my email and I had a message from the call center.  It said please call Creston at #.  So I waited a little while and I called him.  He was on his way to El Paso for work.  I honestly thought he wanted to talk about Leaco.  We visited for a little bit and then he asked me if I would like to have dinner with him sometime.  My response...."Aren't you married????" in a loud obnotious voice.  He said no and explained that He had been single about a year.  I told him that he had my number and he could call me, and that I would have lunch with him sometime.  (If CA was telling this story He would tell you that I called him first.  But that was just because I was returning His call.  He would also reinact my walk and my wave, my smile and my eyes while laughing at me.)

Later that night my phone rang and it was Him.  We talked and laughed for a good while.  We made plans to go to dinner that Saturday night.

The next day I got flowers at the office.

We talked every night that week, and on Saturday He drove out to McDonald to pick me up to take me to dinner.  I wore a black lacy top and jeans and He had on a yellow shirt and a cap that he kept on all night.  We were on our way to Hobbs and He turned off down styles road.  We drove for a little while and the conversation flowed easily.  Of course I was nervous and made sure I was sucking in and sitting up straight, trying not fidgit to much with my hands.  He pulled up to this really junky trailer and said this is my place.....I didn't say much and then He started laughing.  He was just kidding of course.  He then drove me by His real place.  It was so nice.  Manicured and very well taken care of.  He was so proud.

We ended up going to eat at Applebees.  I drank a big Sangria as we sat at the bar and talked and there was this really funny girl there named Julie.  We talked and laughed and then we moved over to a table and ate.  I remember getting up to go to the bathroom thinking "Oh no, I know that He is going to look at my butt :)"  After dinner we went to Wal-Mart to get my sister a birthday present because the next day I was going to see her at Roswell.

He took me home after Wal-Mart and we drove the long way through the country as I gave him the 3rd degree.  I asked him so many questions I can't believe he actually called me after that.  When we got to my house He walked me up to the door and gave me a hug.  I remember going inside the house thinking, Oh this guys is so cute and I really had fun, but why didn't He kiss me???  I know now that was because Creston was a total gentelman.

The next week we talked everyday, morning and night.  The following Saturday night is when He invited me to his house to eat steaks.  That Saturday night I fell in love!  I was absolutely head over heels in love with this man and His precious toothless red headed freckled face little boy.

I will post more soon....I want everyone to know our story, and the love we shared.  I thank you all for your prayers.  Please, please continue to pray.

With all my love,

Trisha

Favorite Pics of Last Summer

I can not wait until spring and summer time.  I want to share some of my favorite pictures of last summer.  I have so many.  Our yard was awesome.  We worked so hard on it to get it ready for the wedding.  I will share more wedding pics and Yellostone when I can.  I took so many I don't know what are where.  My wedding pictures are my most favorite pictures of the summer, but those will have to wait until later.

Before the wedding we hauled in all these rail-road ties.  We lined both fences and around all three trees.  We layed shingles down and then hauled wheel barrels full of dirt.  We planted vines and crate-mertels, mums, snap dragons, lantina, dianthias, jasmine.  Then we put down mulch. I can't wait for it all to bloom out.

Morning after the wedding.  We said "I do" under the arch.  We had white chairs lined up and Daddy walked me out through the gate on the other side.  Oh I have got to write up exactly how my wedding went.  Yall don't even know what songs I used.  Ok this weekend I will do that.

We have roses of every color.  They line our patio. This picture really doesn't do them justice.  There are so many of them.

This honeysuckle on our front porch is huge.  It smells so good though.

The mesquitos loved it last year.  Our grass got so thick you could only make 1 pass and you then you would have to dump the bag.  It was awesome...and the best part is there were not any stickers.
